Skate Spots

With the inclusion of skateboarding in the 2020 Olympics, we have decided to create a platform to help young Australians learn to skate, in any way, shape or form.

There are a number of types of skating methods, but this is our favourite:

Skateboarding

An Olympic sport where people ride and master tricks on a skateboard.

A skateboard is a small plank on four wheels that can be modified to suit the riders personal taste and style.

People all over the world take up skateboarding as a recreational activity or a way to get from point A to point B. However, some people have the skill to turn skateboarding into an entertainment industry job or as of Tokyo 2020, an Olympic sport!

Learning To Skate

Learning to skate is a great way to get outside and have fun. Skating in all its forms is also a very healthy activity, and one that gets your muscles working and your heart pumping.

By learning to skate you can also join a number of clubs, helping you connect with like-minded people and form long-lasting friendships.

Learning to skate is something that you can do any day of the week at any time of your life. It’s never too late to learn and new skill – in fact, you could even learn to skate as your child does! What an incredible opportunity that would be.

Australia’s Best Skate Spots

Whilst our site is in development, we’re taking recommendations for Australia’s best skate spots. Our aim is to provide skaters everywhere with the most comprehensive list of Australia’s best skating locations. This will help people learning to skate and expert skaters get the most out of their hobby and possibly even help Australia develop some future Olympians.

If you know of a good skate spot, please submit it via our contact form and it will be added to our list if deemed appropriate! Stay tuned for the list in the coming weeks!
